  • You are encouraged to maintain an ongoing relationship with your GP or relevant medical providers
  • Information provided during consultations is educational and supportive in nature, and intended to assist with informed decision-making.

No guarantee of clinical outcomes is made. Results vary based on individual physiology, consistency of engagement, and adherence to recommendations.

6. Intellectual property

All written materials, treatment plans, client handouts, and resources produced by Simply Naturopathics are the intellectual property of Tania Lewis. These are provided for your personal use only.

You may not reproduce, share, redistribute, publish, or sell any materials provided to you without prior written permission.

7. Communication outside consultations

When you receive your appointment confirmation, you’ll be invited to register for the Simply Naturopathics Patient Portal. The Portal is the preferred place for ongoing contact between appointments, as it keeps your health information in one secure place.

Brief administrative or clarification questions may also be directed to info@simplynaturopathics.com.au. Response time is up to 2 business days, Monday to Friday. Clinical advice, treatment adjustments, or complex discussions are addressed within scheduled consultations.

All case-based enquiries – including questions about your treatment plan, prescriptions, test results, or new health concerns – and all appointment change requests must be sent via the Patient Portal or by email only. Please do not send clinical questions or appointment requests via social media messages or any other channel. This keeps your health information in one secure place and ensures nothing is missed.

Simply Naturopathics does not provide after-hours or emergency support. All communications should be conducted respectfully. I reserve the right to decline further services where communication is persistently inappropriate or abusive.

8. Disclosure and referral

Your health information may be shared with other healthcare practitioners, laboratories, or referral providers with your consent. I will not share your information for these purposes without your knowledge, except where required by law.
I work collaboratively with GPs and other treating practitioners. Where a clinical finding warrants referral or GP communication, I will discuss this with you directly.

9. Confidentiality and privacy

Personal and health information is handled in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles. Full details are in the Privacy Policy.

10. AI-assisted notetaking

AI-assisted tools are used to support clinical documentation during consultations. These tools supplement professional judgement and do not replace it. No audio recordings are retained. Use is disclosed at intake, and your consent is obtained prior to commencement. You may request to opt out at the beginning of your appointment.

11. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by Australian law, Simply Naturopathics is not liable for outcomes beyond reasonable clinical control. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts, or modifies rights available under the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Dispute resolution

If you have a concern about the service you have received, please contact me in the first instance at info@simplynaturopathics.com.au. I am committed to addressing concerns in good faith and in a timely manner.

If a concern cannot be resolved directly, complaints regarding naturopathic professional conduct may be directed to the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA). Complaints regarding privacy may be directed to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC).

13. Right to decline or discontinue services

Simply Naturopathics reserves the right to decline or discontinue services where:

  • The therapeutic relationship is not aligned
  • Policies are persistently not adhered to
  • Communication becomes inappropriate or abusive
  • A client is engaging concurrently with another naturopath providing equivalent services, where this compromises the clarity or safety of care. In this circumstance, programs may be paused or discontinued, and unused sessions remain subject to the program validity period and refund policy

Where appropriate, referrals will be provided.
